DAY ONE

West Wycombe Park and Oxford

Iconic England - Oxford Christ Church College

Christ Church's Great Hall, Oxford, England

Beautiful gardens, elegant architecture and a scandalous history – West Wycombe Park really sets the scene for our tour of screen locations. Redeveloped in the 18th century by Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the infamous Hellfire Club, the estate has appeared in countless productions from period dramas to the fantastical Labyrinth. Then on to historic Oxford, where a walking tour introduces us to its medieval colleges which have acted as both inspiration and setting for renowned characters and tales. Then it's time to become acquainted with our magnificent country house hotel over a welcome dinner.

DAY TWO

Lacock Village and Regency Bath

Iconic England - Lacock Abbey

Today we journey to the impossibly pretty village of Lacock, which you may recognise as Meryton Village in an adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. There's time to peek inside the Abbey, whose peaceful cloisters have often graced the silver screen, most notably as the halls of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies. Then we continue to the nearby Regency city of Bath, wandering the Georgian streets which inspired Jane Austen you'll feel like you've stepped in to one of her novels. From the Roman Baths to the Royal Crescent, a walking tour reveals thousands of years of history before plenty of free time to explore independently. Later we return to Marlow.
